Groupware Technologies, Inc., a software company specializing in care management products for health care and human service organizations, has an immediate opening for a Software Developer. This full-time position will be a part of our Development Team.

The successful candidate needs to be a combination right brain/left brain!

Qualifications:

  • A degree in the Social Services (MSW or MS in Psychology preferred) or the Medical fields (RN or LPN preferred)
  • At least three (3) years of experience in the direct delivery of care management
  • IT Degree preferred
  • Professionally versed in care management standards of practice
  • Technically versed in a variety of software packages, including the Microsoft Suite of Products
  • Crystal Reports (both reporting and analysis)
  • SQL Query Writing

  • Strong customer service, verbal communication and solid written communication skills
  • Desire to interact with members of the healthcare and social service professions
  • Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Adaptable, able to work well in an environment comprising of established processes and procedures as well as opportunities for flexibility, creativity and new challenges

Preference will be given to individuals with the required health and/or human services experience coupled with:

  • Care Management Policy and Procedure Development and Implementation
  • Chronic Care Management
    • Disease Management
    • Mental Health/Substance Abuse Counseling
    • Homelessness
  • Reporting and Analysis using Crystal Reports
  • SQL Query Writing

Responsibilities:

  • Providing telephone and email support to customers
  • Development and implementation of care management standards
  • Development of standard and outcome based reports utilizing Crystal Reports
  • SQL Query Development
  • Creation of and updating of user guides
  • Potential of conducting trainings locally and throughout the U.S.
